Add Adjustment

Adjustments are added in the engagement's working papers. To do so, open the engagement and do one of the following:

  • Right click on a working paper → From the context menu select Adjustments (where applicable) → Click Add
  • Select a working paper → Click the Adjustments button located in the toolbar → Click Add

1. Select the Type of adjustment and the Тrial balance type from the drop-down menus.

2. Mark the Posted option if the adjustment is recorded in the Trial balances as follows:

3. In the Note field, enter any notes connected with the adjustment.

4. Enter the Tax result and Financial result values, if applicable.

5. Mark the Extrapolated values option if the values are extrapolated.

6. In the Entries section, fill in the journal entry of the actual adjustment.

7. Click Save.

Edit Adjustment

The Edit adjustment window is identical to the window for adding adjustments. It is accessed in one of the following ways:

  • Right click on a working paper → From the context menu select Adjustments (where applicable) → Click Edit
  • Select a working paper → Click the Adjustments button located in the toolbar → Click Edit

After editing the adjustment, click Save to save your changes.

Tip

You can use keyboard shortcuts to access the options described above. Press Alt+key, where the key must correspond to the underlined letter in the option's name. For example, press Alt+P to mark an adjustment as Posted. If you press the combination a second time, you will unmark the option.
