AuditDesktop supports work with Project plan system element.


The active window has the following fields:

  • Title - the name of the planned task
  • Duration - define the task's duration
  • Set assignee - set the task's assignee, if any. The options are:
    • None
    • Team leader
    • Manager
    • Partner
  • Set reviewer - set the task's reviewer, if any. The options are:
    • None
    • Team leader
    • Manager
    • Partner

In the Set start date as field, select the engagement's key date when the task can be started. The possible dates are:

  • None
  • Start
  • Fieldwork start
  • Fieldwork end
  • Preliminary report
  • Planned end

In the Set due date as field, select the engagement's key date by which the task must be finished. The possible dates are:

  • None
  • Start
  • Fieldwork start
  • Fieldwork end
  • Preliminary report
  • Planned end

You can enter an Offset period (calculated in days) to both the start and the due date of the task.

To add a task description, open the Description tab and enter it as plain text. In the Sections and Documents tabs, you can specify the section and working papers that the task is connected with: 

  • Add - select and add a section or a working paper
  • Remove - removal of section or working paper

Tip

AuditDesktop is distributed with an in-built project plan which can be easily customised. You can move tasks up and down the list by following the steps:

  1. Click on the table's Indicator to select the task.
  2. Drag the task to the desired position by holding the mouse button pressed down.
  3. Release the mouse button when you reach the position.

To make changes in the tasks' hierarchy, move the cursor to the right or to the left, depending on whether the task that you are moving will be a neighbour or a child element.
