AuditDesktop allows you to identify control activities directly in the
engagement's working papers. To do so, choose one of
the following ways:
- Select the working paper → Click the Control activities button
in the toolbar → Click
Add - Right click on the working paper → From the context
menu
selectControl activities → Click

** - Open the working paper → Open the Identified CAs tab → Click
Add
- Enter the name of the control activity.
- Select the Control component and Control type from the
drop-down menus. - Mark the Affect statements option if the control activity
affects all statements. - Add a short description of the identified control activity in the
Description field. - Open the Details tab and mark the Management
assertions affected by the control activity. - Mark the Statement of financial position
items that are affected by
the control activity. - Mark the Income statement items that are
affected by the control activity. - Open the Risks tab and select the risks that are covered by
the control activity. - Click
Save.
