Sample type: Random sample

Parameters: Sample type, Sample size

Description: Shows a number or percentage of rows at random order
from the population

Generation

To generate the sample, perform the steps:

1. Select the range of the population and click the Generate sample
   button.

2. Enter Sheet name. If you do not enter a name, the program will
   automatically name the sheet Sample, Sample 1, Sample 2,
   etc.

3. In the Sample type drop-down menu, select Random sample.

4. If necessary, change the population range in the Range field by
   clicking the ''...'' button.

5. Mark whether the range includes headers.

6. In the Parameters section, select the value type as Count or
   Percent from the population.

7. In the Sample size field, define the number of rows. It must not
   exceed the number of rows in the population, or percent - a number from
   0 to 100.

8. Click the Generate button.
