The Control activities window shows all control activities
identified in the engagement's working papers. To
access the window, open the engagement and do one of the following:
- Select the working paper → Click
the ****
Control activities
button in the toolbar - Right click on the working paper → From the context
menu
select**Control activities ** - Open the working paper → Open the Identified CAs tab
The buttons give access to these actions:
Print – open the window
for printing
templates
Add – open the window for
adding control activities
Edit – open
the window for editing control
activities
Delete – delete the
selected control activity
Details – view details
about the selected control activity
¶ Control activities
- Control activity – shows the name of the control activity
- Control component – shows the control component
- Control type – shows the control type
- Affect statements – whether the control activity affects all
statement items - Description – shows a short description of the identified
control activity - Assertions – which management assertions are affected by the
control activity - Statement of financial position – the Statement of financial
position item(s) affected by
the control activity - Income statement – the Income statement
item(s) affected by the control activity - Working paper objective – the field shows the working paper's
objective
