The Templates section enables the parametrisation of working papers.
Some parameters are available only in MS Word, others in MS Excel; still
others are available in both applications.
The parameters that can be inserted are divided into the following
groups:
- Organisation - shows the organisation's
data - Client - shows the client's data
- Engagement - shows the engagement's data
- Document - shows the document's data
- Reports - shows data from the reports
- Statements - shows data from the statements
- Risks - shows data from the risks
The All fields button opens a drop-down menu which gives access to
all available fields that can be inserted.
The Design mode button activates the design mode which enables you
to delete protected fields in MS Word documents.
The Toggle form button opens a window for quick selection and adding
of parameters. This function is very useful when documents are being
parametrised for the first time.
- Select an item and a field
- Click the Add field button or double click with the left mouse
button
In MS Word, some parameter types are inserted directly in the working
papers. For other parameters, the program will open a window where
additional features are selected:
- Result type - select the template's format. In most cases, the
RTF format is used (Rich Text Format) - Template name - enter the template's name in the field
Once you are ready, click Insert.
